The Seed Creed: 2011

The Seed Creed Concept

Gazzilions of healthy, vibrant seeds get tossed into the trash in our homes during food preparation every day. Each has the potential to run their life-cycle to fruition, with the right care and understanding. The Seed Creed is a guide to assist in collecting all this potential while offering the basic information needed to fulfil the cycle - thereby providing self-education (by experience) and fruit and vegetables beyond imagination! Before long, every available planting space will be filled with productive plants.

The process is a metaphor representing children (and people generally)- each of us have the potential to be fulfilled in life, with the right care, understanding and environment. As with growing plants - there are basic guidelines that can get us there. Enjoy and blog us to let us know how your collecting and growing is doing, we'd love to hear!

Seeds for Africa

Seeds for Africa is a natural extension to The Seed Creed. Based on our informal calculations, an average household discards hundreds of healthy, vibrant seeds every week - most of which have the potential to feed people if given the chance.

Hundreds of thousands in Africa (and many other countries) don't have access to healthy seed, or cannot afford them.

Seeds for Africa will endeavour to collect and distribute overflow seeds that kids collect... watch this space for updates and make sure you save your over-flow of dried seeds - carefully identified so they can be sent to appropriate villages. Put your name and age, plus a message of goodwill to the receiver with the seeds.
Ideally tell us if other seeds from the batch have been successfully cultivated, so we need not test them (saves time).
