Collecting your Seeds
Every time mum (or dad) prepares a meal, watch closely for every little seed that could be wasted - even when a tomato is cut, seeds are left on the cutting board. Pumpkins are a bonanza! So many seeds can be harvested. Apple seeds, pears... oranges, beans, capsicum (Green Peppers), apricots, grapes, ... any seeds that you can get your grubby little paws on! Grab 'em, dry 'em (in an egg box on your window sill for example) and read up on this blog site on how and when to plant them, then do it!
Ask mum or dad where you can plant - whether it be in the garden, or in a small planting box where you can take care of it - giving them water and sun and lots of love!
Please take photo's and add them to the blog, telling us all about it. Keep collecting and save seeds so we can send them to villages in Africa. We will start sending to Tanzania first, but many more countries to come, we trust...
The best of luck - hope you have green fingers!
